The recipes pages contain traditional recipes and our versions of those.

We’ve found that some South African recipes don’t work well in Australia due to the difference in the flour. Some people advise to sift the flour three times before using it in recipes.

Other times we took the easy way out and modified some of the Aussie recipes to suit our tastes!

Luckily the bulk of the herbs and spices needed for the dishes and products are freely available at the leading supermarkets.
